1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website (https://www.namaskarnortheast.com), submitting booking queries, requesting custom tour plans, or confirming reservation advances, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not use our booking facilities or services.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

To reserve standard or premium tour packages, vehicle fleet slots, or accommodation allotments, the following payment schedules apply:

  • Booking Confirmation Advance: A minimum deposit of 30% to 50% of the total tour package cost is required to initiate bookings and confirm hotel reservations.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid either before departure or immediately upon arrival in Guwahati, Assam, before commencing the road itinerary.
  • All rates quoted are net prices. Payments can be completed via Bank Transfer, IMPS/NEFT, UPI, or designated payment links. Surcharges on international card payments may apply.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

As our hotel inventories and vehicle networks are booked upfront, cancellations incur administrative charges based on the date of request prior to departure:

*Note: Non-refundable expenses such as processed Inner Line Permits (ILP), wildlife sanctuary safari passes (Kaziranga/Manas), and special holiday season premium hotel blocks (December 15 - January 5) will be deducted regardless of the cancel date.

4. Permits & Travel Documentation

Entering specific zones in Northeast India (such as Tawang, Bumla Pass, Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh, or Lachen, Lachung, Gurudongmar Lake in North Sikkim) requires authorization passes issued by local administrative authorities:

  • Clients are solely responsible for submitting clear scans of valid government IDs (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) and passport-size photographs at least 7 to 10 days before the tour begins.
  • Foreign nationals must hold valid Indian Visas and register for Protected Area Permits (PAP) or Restricted Area Permits (RAP) where applicable.
  • Namaskar Northeast is not responsible for permit denials due to incorrect documentation submitted by the client, or sudden government restrictions/border closures.

5. Force Majeure & Terrain Constraints

Northeast India features rugged mountain terrains, dense forest sectors, and high-altitude valleys. In the event of force majeure, including:

"Landslides, cloudbursts, heavy rainfall, road washouts, earthquakes, political strikes (bandhs), sudden border lockouts, or flight/train delays and cancellations..."

Namaskar Northeast reserves the right to alter itineraries, substitute hotels, or change routes for the safety of our guests. Any additional expenses arising from deviations, extra hotel nights, or special vehicle redeployments due to these unforeseen events must be borne by the traveler.
